According to the motto Urban Green Living which guides this competition, this project entitled Hof offers a tribute to the rural past of the municipality of Woluwe-Saint-Lambert based on chromaticism, forms and materials of the vernacular architecture of Brussels. Outside, a steel structure based on the geometry of old gable-shaped houses and farms built in timber framing. Inside, a cylindrical trellis made of reused Brusselse Klampsteen bricks. The result is a sculptural ensemble permeable to the eye, the play of lights, shadows, materials and forms that will make the memory and identity of the town still present.
